On April 24, 2026, Woori Financial Group Inc. approved a share exchange where shareholders of Tongyang Life Insurance Co. will exchange shares at a ratio of approximately 0.2521 common shares of WFG for each common share of Tongyang, making Tongyang a wholly-owned subsidiary. The share exchange is expected to occur on August 11, 2026.
