On September 23, 2025, Service Properties Trust sold three hotels with a total of 399 keys for $22.5 million, part of a larger plan to sell 113 hotels for $913.3 million. They have sold 23 of these hotels to date for $158.2 million and still plan to sell 90 more by the end of 2025.
