On September 26, 2025, NRG Energy, Inc. entered into a credit agreement for $561.9 million to finance 60% of a 721 MW natural gas power facility in Texas. They also guaranteed payment obligations for this project, which is expected to achieve commercial operation by December 1, 2028.
