On October 16, 2025, Disc Medicine, Inc. announced they received a Commissioner’s National Priority Voucher from the FDA for their drug bitopertin for treating erythropoietic protoporphyria. This voucher will help speed up the drug approval process, possibly reducing review times to one to two months.
