A vendor of PlainsCapital Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilltop Holdings Inc., experienced a security incident where unauthorized parties gained access to customer data, including social security numbers and account numbers. The bank is committed to notifying impacted customers and providing complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services. The vendor has patched the vulnerability that caused the incident and currently, there has been no indication that the incident has impacted the Company’s or the Bank’s systems or customer access credentials.
