On March 10, 2026, Battalion Oil Corp entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement to acquire approximately 7,090 net acres of oil and gas assets in Ward County, Texas, for which they will issue 485,000 shares of common stock as payment. The effective date of the acquisition is March 1, 2026, and is expected to close by March 24, 2026.
