Star Cement North East Ltd, a subsidiary of Star Cement Ltd, has been declared the preferred bidder for a mining lease of the Parewar Limestone Block in Jaisalmer, covering 960 hectares with estimated resources of 271.38 million tonnes, as per the notification dated 22/08/2023.
