Huhtamaki India Ltd disclosed a tax demand along with interest and penalty imposed by the CGST & Central Excise Commissionerate, Thane on account of alleged wrong availment/transition of CENVAT Credit. The demand is for Rs. 14,481/- comprising of tax demand of Rs. 4,481/- and penalty demand of Rs. 10,000/- with interest to be levied separately.
